We had an early start, leaving Glasgow just before 7am.
The sun had come out by the time we passed Tyndrum, these two pictures are taken out towards Beinn Dorain.

It was approaching 9.30 when we set off, heading though the village of Ballachullish, it was strange to finally visit it, having passed by so many times before.

We passed by the smallest little school, then turning off the road through a gate into the fields to start the assent (this is me).

The mist over Ballachullish as we started the assent.

A beautiful picture of the sun rising from behind Sgorr a' Choise.

A panoramic, showing Ballachullish village and Loch Linnhe. It's a fairly steep assent.

This is me on a small cairn on the assent of Sgorr Dhearg.

The combination of frost and rugged rocky terrain made for a very exposed feeling.

Don't try this at home (it's not as dangerous as it looks)!

The summit of Sgorr Dhearg.

There is a nice ridge leading from the summit of Sgorr Dhearg to Sgorr Dhonuill.

The last bit of Sgorr Dhonuill, takes a head for heights (you can see clearer in the video at the bottom).

The descent back down is really boring, a long slog through boggy terrain - by the time we reached the road it was dark, then a long slog back to the car.

All in all, a great day out, fantastic weather for late November.
