At least a 2 boot difficulty.
Route: Lindores Loch circuit, Grange of Lindores
Date walked: 17/10/2019
Time taken: 2 hours
Distance: 6km
The walk report lists this walk as a 1 boot difficulty, however I would put this walk as a 2 boot difficulty, as the walk was not on well defined paths over some steep and overgrown ground.
For most of the way you are walking through farmland fields, some out of use and really overgrown, (you may find yourself wading up through thistles on a boggy hillside after wet weather).
You're just walking in a general direction, there aren't any paths unless its recently been trodden, so some navigation is needed.
I was out with my retired, but still really fit mother, who found the grassy and overgrown hillsides quite difficult to walk through, and she admitted she was disorientated during this. So I wouldn't like anyone who thought this was a simpler walk to get in a tricky situation half way round.
Moderator's note: We've been back to check and update this route and agree; it is now a two boot walk.
