Well after a week of boring DIY etc, decided to get out the house for a while. Mate was meant to be joining me, but text at 3am saying he wasnt gonna make it!!

Anyway, left the house about 6:30am, and actually started walking about 7:45am. Started off fairly clear and headed straight up the tourist path.

Onwards and upwards the visibility didnt looks so bad, and with all my huffing and puffing i was hoping the clouds would be blown away!! Was also surprised by not having been overtaken by anyone yet.
Not much chance of a clear view, can maybe just see past the edge. Wind had really picked up over the last wee bit, but as i reached the last few meters, there was a surreal calm the whole time i was up top, saved the camera getting blown away!

Time was about 10:15am and seeing the views were blocked off, didnt hang around long, couple of pics, some video (hoping for a glimpse of something) then off back down. All in all, was back at the car for just before 12pm.
