Beinn Ime

Munros: Beinn Ìme

Date walked: 02/09/2015

Time taken: 5 hours

Distance: 15.5km

Ascent: 1014m

Started out from Arrachor car park at 9.55, crossed over the road and started a steady climb up the winding path to the base of Beinn Narnain and then walked along the length of the path that runs along the base of Narnain until it comes to fork in the path leading to the "Cobbler", Ben Arthur or to Narnain/Ime.

Following the path to Narnain/Ime till it splits, head down towards the base of Ime and through the gate , path becomes bogy at this point until you are well up the Ime. A steady fairly straight walk to the summit where today we had glorious views all round even as far as Ailsa Craig and Arran.

Return journey is a retrace of your steps back to the car park.

All in all a good walk with walking buddy John Todd.
