Meikle Bin on a clear day

Haven't been out on any hills for a few years and wanting to get back to them. This is a great wee hill to start getting miles in the legs. The walk starts on a great quality forestry track, meandering between the trees. It is a fairly gradual walk until you emerge from within the forest up onto slightly higher ground. They have been doing loads of felling recently so you can get some great views of Meikle Bin and surrounding hills. Once you start the steep climb, you can clearly see how boggy it can get through the peatland but today we had it lucky. No boggy patches whatsoever on the way up. If a defined and stone path could be laid, it would be of great help. I don't think it would take much for the path to get really wide and eroded due to the amount of people walking up and down in wetter days. Most of the way up, you can see the remains of the crashed plane from 1950. Unfortunately there has been graffiti scrawled all across it! We had some great views of the hills further north like Ben Ledi, Ben Lomond, The Cobbler, Ben Vorlich, Stuc a'Chroin, etc and even managed to pick out Goatfell on Arran to the SW.
