"...a little very easy rocky scrambling on flakes". Really?

Route: Five Sisters of Kintail

Munros: Sgùrr Fhuaran, Sgùrr na Càrnach, Sgùrr na Ciste Duibhe

Date walked: 03/05/2024

Distance: 15km

Just a caveat: the walk description for Stage 4 says: "Beyond, there is almost an identical descent to the Bealach na Càrnach, with a little very easy rocky scrambling on flakes" .... if you have 8ft long arms and legs, and King Kong's climbing capabilities, then yeah, it's like a simple stroll down the Empire State Building.

If you are proportioned like the usual common-or-garden homo sapiens, you might think twice before doing it in the rain with an awkward rucksack. If you throw your rucksack down first, a) make sure you miss your partner's head, and b) try to aim it away from the steep drop or wave it goodbye.

Apart from that, it's a good day out. Personally I'd rather gouge out my eyeballs with rusty knives.
