This lovely circular walk along the river Beauly has been altered by the landowner,much to the annoyance of the many locals who enjoy this route. I run this circuit regularly but this month the car park has been locked. Parking is available on the verge but there are rumours that stickers will be put on windscreens telling drivers to park elsewhere. The walk has been rerouted around Beauly River Lodge. Don't disregard the signs -I did and was chased by the owner's dogs. In fact walking around the house isn't that unpleasant but you will miss out on a stretch of path along the river.I hope the local outcry will make the landowner reverse his policy and allow easy(and responsible) access to this beautiful spot.
