Having gotten properly warmed up on Meall Ghaordaidh, I was parked at Auchessan & ready to roll again by 11:00. Having had a good laugh to myself over the welcome sign I headed off in lovely warm conditions. The track alongside Allt Riobain wasn't in the best condition, but it's easy enough to follow up to the dam, before heading up the body of Sgiath Chuil. I started to feel quite hot and heavy legged on the ascent, but fortunately, there was plenty of cool streams to refresh in and after 2 hours, I made it to the summit of Sgiath Chuil. After a short rest, headed over to the Munro Top of Meall a'Churain, before tackling the steep descent to Lairig a'Churain and then the ascent of Beinn Cheathaich, the Munro Top of Meall Glas. There was great views all around once on the top, and it was still really warm, which after the steep ascent, certainly got the blood flowing. It was a nice walk across the top to the summit of Meall Glas where I encountered the first walkers I'd seen here. As they seemed settled on the summit, I didn't stay long, and set off on the unmarked route back down, going over Meall Glas Beag and then a SW heading back to the out path. A great day out, unfortunately my last of 2020.
