Beinn Eighe in Torridon
Date walked: 25/05/2010
A very long walk, initially it circumvented the hill, to end up in a sort of ampitheatre with a loch in the middle. Then had to climb a rather exposed area to get to the ridge, once up on the ridge it was quite spectacular, there are two Munros in this ridge. We missed the path on the way down, we started to descend another route but it quickly became apparent that this was not the correct path, I climbed back up the ridge, walked back and eventually saw the correct path, unfortunately to get back onto the correct path we had to cross a large amount of scree which is difficult under foot. On reaching the bottom we had to walk a few miles back the car, always difficult at the end of a walk, but as usuall worth it.
