hi this is the first time i have done this but here goes! we left from thom the usual car park and headed north up the well beaten track.it was quite severe to start with!!! any amatueres turn back now!!! no only kidding tell them to get teir ass in gear keep going the reward is yet to come!! to be fair it is a bit of a slog up the start of the old lomond but hey what one isnt!anyhow prgressed onward and upward till we cleared the trees yes!!! we have made it!!! no we have not!!!! on we go the wind was pickin up but we were prepared all good! it was more of a gentle stroll now but still pretty windy the real ascent was still to come. . . .booo oh well we got . . there it wasnt too tough just a bit blowy!!! we made the sumit stayed for some cookies and tea. and decided to go down the altenate route . . . . . which was good and easy u ntill my mate greg decided it would be a god idea to run down a mountain!!!needless to say he broke his ankle and will never run down the old munros again the daft f***** but i just hope if anyone reads this they dont make the same mistake!!!! photos will be added as soon as greg speaks to me again sorry greg i told u i would post somethin. lookin forward to our next one x
