Path there, access OK, Bridge restored

Route: Allt a' Chonais Pinewood, Craig

Date walked: 05/05/2023

Distance: 6km

Walked this today (having been decided to give up climbing a hill in strong winds at 600m).

The access path is still there, though getting a little feint on the ground. It goes down the gorge, where there's a very well constructed new footbridge over the river. But, on the other side in the pinewoods, no obvious tracks/paths and no waymarkers.

So, can gain access, but on your own in the pinewood.

The carpark is still present, up the track on the north side of the road almost opposite the access to the level crossing. But the carpark signs on the road are no longer there.

Many of the estate tracks are enlarged, presumably for forestry harvesting and various new hydro schemes.

(Presumably the bridge replaces the one reported missing in the original walk description, though what someone was doing building a very nice bridge to nowhere is a mystery to me).
