Beinn Dearg in November
Fionas: Beinn Dearg
Date walked: 25/11/2015
Time taken: 3 hours
A dry, partly cloudy November day. Perfect for a drive up to, & walk from, the car park at the end of the road up Glen Artney. Beinn Dearg was my choice and I followed the route previously posted by wjshaw2, so I won't rehash it.
Although the walk starts and finishes on decent paths, most of it is rough walking and, at this time of year, very tussocky and slippy. Main reason for posting is the notice attached to a gate near the start of the walk which warns of deer stalking over a six month period - phone number may be of use to others if they want to do this walk between mid August and mid February
