Ben A'an - small yet mighty
Route: Ben A'an
Date walked: 04/09/2020
Time taken: 2 hours
Distance: 3.7km
A cracking little hill - with a cracking (not so little) incline using mostly steps. We knew the weather was scheduled to close in.on us by noon so got to the adjacent car park (payable) and off on our adventure by 8am.
A good steady climb, foraging for brambles and wild raspberries (by me) slowed us down bit but on the summit within an hour. Summit provides fantastic views...check out the rainbow photo below. Descent is very straightforward with no need to sit on your butt 🤣 and we were down in less than an hour which made it the perfect time for a brunch in Callander on the way home.
Ben a'an is small.- bit perfectly formed. Give it a shot!
