Sgurr na Stri from Kilmarie

This was a great route with spectacular views.
I set off in the morning from the layby just south of Kilmarie on the road to Elgol. The track starts directly opposite the layby.
Pretty simple following the track over to Camasunary. When you reach the top of Am Mam, you get a hint of the views you'll see later on:
Then I headed across the bay and then the river, which was fairly easy to cross as it hadn't really rained for weeks.
From here I followed the river north on the west bank before heading up beside a stream in the col between Sgurr na Stri and Sgurr Hain on a patchy path. It was quite wet in places underfoot here and must get very boggy when it's been raining.
Bla Bheinn from a little way up the hill following the stream:
On reaching the ridge the views started improving exponentially.
As I passed a couple of pools complete with small newts.
It was a fairly easy scramble along the ridge to the summit. Not really much of a path but I just kept heading towards what looked like the highest bit!
Some views from the top...
Sgurr a Ghreadaidh & Sgurr a Mhadaidh

And now the money shot...

From the top I took a pretty similar route back to the way I came up, before driving down to Elgol and waiting for the sun to set...
