The weather forecast sounded too good to miss. Quick plan hatched for a couple of Grahams near Lochearnhead the advantage being that travel distance was relatively short.
First up was Sgiath a’Chàise from the layby near Archullarie More, frequently used for access to Beinn Each. Set off pre dawn with a head torch up into Glen Ample in the fog – out of the fog at around 500m. On the way down I met kaye.cantlay from this site – we stopped for a chat but didn’t realise who each other was until later when piecing together bits of information – it was very nice to meet you.
Back at the car late morning, I then drove up past Lochearnhead and parked in the forestry car park at Glenogle Cottages. Followed the track up to the radio mast then south east across trackless heather to Meall Buidhe.
This is more a collection of a few photos than a walk report.
