- Ideal day out: Early start, and a drive up to the hills. A dreary start to a long walk, climbing something like the Aonach Eagach Ridge, Bidean Nam Bian, or in the Mamores. After a solid 6 hours waking, get back to the car, get a quick shirt change, and hit a decent inn for a steak pie!
