Glen Loin and Coiregrogain
Route: Glen Loin and Coiregrograin, Arrochar
Date walked: 02/03/2014
Time taken: 4.5 hours
Distance: 17.5km
Ascent: 455m
Nice walk with the hill walking group and a right good tester for my new walking boots which get 2 thumbs up from me.
We done the walk in reverse as quite a few people in our group had done this walk before and they reckoned it was better that way...it was my first time doing this walk so happy to take their advice.
The weather was not too bad for the first half of the walk...jackets off after 10 mins! Great path all the way, it does break off at certain points so not impossible to veer from your intended path. We stopped off for lunch just after crossing the stream to start the return, and that was pretty much when the weather turned. Jackets, gloves, hats all back on for the remainder of the walk.
Over all a great a walk with some great views. Will be taking my dog next time to i think : )
