Late autumn colour on the Water of Ruchill
Route: Water of Ruchill and Cultybraggan, Comrie
Date walked: 10/11/2019
Time taken: 2.5 hours
Distance: 6.75km
A lovely walk with plenty of interest. Yes, the road is potentially dangerous, with very little verge in places, and so not recommended for young children.
The walk up the river is the highlight but the beech woods leading down to Strowan Road are particularly special at this time of year.
At the time of writing Cultybraggan Camp is open daily from 10-4 and so the walk is readily combined with a visit.

A pleasant circuit sadly marred by wind turbines
