Glen Feshie - Allt Garbhlach dangerously eroded

Route: Upper Glen Feshie and Ruigh Aiteachain

Date walked: 16/06/2023

We walked into Glen Feshie on 16/06/23. * Please take care when approaching the Allt Garbhlach on the "main" path as it is dangerously eroded*. There is a diversion from a small path junction at 285094 , 795771, marked by a cairn. Take the minor path to the left, which leads to an easier crossing point, with a temporary log bridge when we were there.

The now-dangerous, wider well made path has stone steps which lead down to an abrupt drop, we were there at dusk (like many walking into the bothy imagine!) and it was a bit startling, and our dog nearly ran off the edge. I saw Nic Bullivant has posted photos on Facebook which Scotways has shared on their page (w/c 19th June), but thought an update to this walk may help others who see this.
