Tryfan

Tryfan is one of the best-known and loved of Welsh mountains. It occupies a tiny space on the map - indicative of its great steepness - it positively bristles with crags. The north ridge is a classic Grade 1 scramble whilst the south ridge from the col is easier. There are two great blocks of stone on the summit known as Adam and Eve - and an old tradition is to jump from one to the other, a precarious and risky manouvre.
