Detailed route description and map

Ben Alder via the Long Leachas, with Beinn Bheoil

Other routes and challenges

It must be rare for Beinn Bheoil to be ascended as the main objective in its own right, through the path through the Bealach Breabag allows eases access from either Culra or Benalder Cottage.

The whole area is ideal for remote cross-country backpacking expeditions. One idea is to undertake a traverse from Corrour Station to Dalwhinnie Station - with plenty of options for Munros to include.
