Meall Buidhe is a north-south ridge in an area of wide moorlands, though the Glas Choire on its eastern side does add some character. It is one of the easiest and quickest Munros to climb from Loch an Damh.

 You have not climbed Meall Buidhe (Glen Lyon).

As the route is fairly short, many combine the route above with that to Stuchd an Lochain on the other side of the glen.

It is possible to ascend Meall Buidhe from the Bridge of Gaur above Loch Rannoch, but this is a much longer approach.
