Detailed route description and map

The Grey Corries ridge

Other routes and challenges

The Grey Corries is almost always done as a ridgewalk. An alternative start - adding a further Munro - is to ascend Stob Ban first and then head up the south ridge.

The epic challenge is the Lochaber Traverse which continues from the Grey Corries onto the Aonachs and eventually Ben Nevis - though the ground leading from the Sgùrr Chòinnich Beag bealach up to Stob Coire Bhealaich is very tricky.
