Other options for the ascent include approaching up Glen Ample and heading up to the Bealach an Dubh-Chorein, approaching from the head of Glen Artney, or a route from the south via Arivurichardich, though the bridge shown on OS maps over the Keltie Water is long gone and the crossing is not possible in spate.
