The results will be announced at a ceremony in Inverness on Friday evening (18 Nov) &#8211; good luck to all the entrants.<\/p>\n<p>Walkhighlands&#8217; members shortlisted for awards are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Highland Campervans<\/strong> &#8211; up for no less than three awards (Best Visitor Experience Small, Best Entrepreneurial Business in the Great Outdoors, and Best Leader)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gordon Pearson from Wow Scotland<\/strong>, providing great walking adventures in the Highlands &#8211; shortlisted for Young Ambassador<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sands Caravan and Camping Park<\/strong> &#8211; shortlisted for Best in Working Together for Tourism<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wilderness Scotland<\/strong> &#8211; providing eco-aware holiday and tours across Scotland are also nominated for Best Entrepreneurial Business in the Great Outdoors<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whitefalls Spa Lodges<\/strong> &#8211; luxury lodges in the Outer Hebrides, are up for 2 awards, Best Supplier Partnership and Best Visitor Experience Small<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sea Life Glass Bottom Boat<\/strong> (does what is says on the tin) are also shotlisted for Best Visitor Experience Small<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bluebell Croft<\/strong> &#8211; providing luxury self catering accommodation and fabulous food in Ardnamurchan are up for Best Sustainable Tourism Exemplar<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Glenuig Inn<\/strong> &#8211; working hard to accommodate, feed, and dry out walkers and paddlers in style are also shortlisted for Best Sustainable Tourism Exemplar<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jacobite<\/strong> &#8211; providing popular cruises on Loch Ness are shortlisted for Best Use of Social Media.<\/p>\n<p>Good luck to everyone from Walkhighlands, the full shortlist can be seen at the Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards <a href=\"http:\/\/www.highland-tourism-awards.co.uk\/index.html\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A bumper number of Walkhighlands business members have made it to the shortlist for this year&#8217;s Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards.
