We\u2019d love to see the majority of the UK\u2019s wild land supporting natural habitats and species, and see widespread ecological damage reversed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf course, there are some estates already doing great work on this but if our wild land management standards can help others in any small way that would be a welcome result.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wildlandmanagement.org.uk\/\">The website<\/a> details 28 wild management standards falling into six categories: management planning; soil, carbon, water; biodiversity &#038; woodland; deer &#038; livestock; facilities &#038; heritage; communities, visitors &#038; awareness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The John Muir Trust today launched its new Wild Land Management Standards website which illustrates the principles that guide its management of wild land.
