In addition to publicising relevant JMT campaigns and donating outdoor gear for fundraising, Walkhighlands has donated \u00a3500 this year for the Trust&#8217;s work to preserve wild land.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Webster from Walkhighlands said, &#8220;We pledged to donate at least \u00a31000 to conservation and mountain safety this year, and we hope to be able to do more in the future. Silver Corporate Membership of the John Muir Trust is one way we can support the fantastic work of the Trust to which we, and thousands of other keen walkers owe a great debt&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>As well as campaigning on issues relating to wild land and conservation, the JMT manages a number of estates, including <a href=\"\/\/www.walkhighlands.co.uk\/sutherland\/sandwood-bay.shtml\">Sandwood Bay<\/a> in Sutherland and Torrin on Skye which includes the Cuillin peak Bla Bheinn.
