Helm Crag
Helm Crag - which in the past was famed as the Lion and the Lamb for its summit rock formations - is a fine little fell rising above Grasmere. Its topmost summit rock - the Howitzer - requires a genuine scramble to surmount and has the distinction of being the only fell in Lakeland that the old fellwander himself never did reach.
