Detailed route description and map

Meall a'Bhùiridh and Creise from the White Corries ski centre

Other routes and challenges

To avoid the ski-tows and instead experience a challenging scramble, it is possible to start from the Glen Etive road, ford the River Etive and then ascend the crags of Sron na Creise before continuing to Creise - a much more adventurous outing.

The classic long day hereabouts is the Black Mount traverse of four Munros. Start with Stob a' Choire Odhair and Stob Ghabhar before following ridges to Clach Liathad. From here Creise can be ascended, and then Meall a'Bhùiridh as the final summit before a descent to the ski-centre.
