The Devil's Point

The Devil's Point - or Bod an Deamhain (Penis of the Demon) to give its original Gaelic name - is a bare pyramid of rock which guards the entrance to the Lairig Ghru from the south. From other directions its true nature as the southern termination of Cairn Toul is more apparent.

The Devil's Point is more readily climbed from Deeside, though still making for a long walk on its own. Head to Corrour bothy via either Glen Luibeg or Glen Dee, before ascending via the path up Coire Odhar.
