Coul House Hotel Contin, near Strathpeffer
Coul House Hotel is a Georgian Country House built in 1821, set in the hills above Contin and offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The spacious rooms are individually decorated, and many have period features and lovely views. The restaurant has a unique octagonal shape and an ornate ceiling. Serving a contemporary menu using local produce, there is also an extensive wine list. Set in eight acres of beautiful mature woodland, Coul House is opposite the walking trails to Rogie Waterfalls, in the Achilty Forest.
