1. Take the minor road that leaves Spean Bridge just south of the Spean Bridge Hotel and is signed for Coille Aonochain. Approximately 1km along this road there is a car park on the right hand side with a sign for the local walks. This walk combines the circular walk and the Spean Bridge railway walk to put the best walking in one route. Start by heading up the track next to the parking area, passing through a gate and carrying on uphill.
2. The track climbs through birch and then next to pine trees before it reaches a larger track. Go straight across here onto a footpath, following the sign for the Circular Path; there are good views back across Glen Spean. Follow this through mixed woodland until another track is reached. Turn left here still following the signs for Spean Bridge Circular Path.
3. The track follows the edge of the forestry plantation and has good views of the surrounding mountains. Pass a bench which looks out over the Grey Corries range, and Aonach Mor, with the ski tows and gondola visible. Keep left here, ignoring a track to the right. Look out for a signed turn to the left and head downhill on a smaller path.
4. Passing through young conifers there are open views over Glen Spean and also behind to the Grey Corries. In the summer the sides of the path are a riot of pink and white foxgloves. After a small bridge the path emerges at a track, turn left here to continue downhill. Just as the gate to the road come into view below, turn left onto a level path at a bend.
5. This path crosses a bridge and passes through oak woodland before reaching the junction passed earlier on. This time turn left onto the main track. When the track forks keep right and soon the track narrows and heads into birch woods before eventually reaching the Spean Bridge golf club car park. Bear right to cross the railway bridge, passing the attractive station building. Follow the road through the outskirts of Spean Bridge until a junction. Turn right here to follow the riverside road back to the car park.
