Dava School House    Dava, near Grantown on Spey

Since we took ownership of the School House in 2013, we converted the original master’s quarters into our home and lovingly restored the School Room back to the original ‘school room feel’. The last master’s desk and one of the children’s benches have been restored to take centre stage in the School Room.

We’ve also converted the extension into guest accommodation; the Red Squirrel suite offers a private lounge, spacious double bedroom and en-suite shower room tastefully, but simplistically, furnished with locally sourced furnishings and artwork.
