Our bed and breakfast is located in Kirkbean, a quiet little village on Solway coast, where amazing sights and walks await you.
The house is a converted barn, surrounded by a lovely garden. Two bedrooms available, shared bathroom with shower, WiFi. Vegetarian or vegan breakfast using local produce. Simple vegetarian evening meals are possible if requested in advance. Kirkbean is ideally placed for coast and forest walks, nearby interesting towns and villages, golf, cycling, bird watching, Sweetheart Abbey, and Loch Arthur.

Rivendell was built in 1924 and is totally unique and idyllic in the area. The architect who designed it was one of six students who studied directly under Charles Rennie Mackintosh at Glasgow school of art and his influence is obvious throughout.The house was of private residence of the Penman family who prospered locally as early exponents of the motor trade. The house was then purchased in 2002 by its current owner.Bruce Harper and underwent a total renovation maintaining the original features throughout.
