Absolute Escapes' Southern Upland Way

The Southern Upland Way is Britain's first official coast to coast long distance walk, running from Portpatrick on the rocky west coast of Scotland to Cockburnspath on the eastern seaboard. It offers superb and varied scenery, taking in idyllic farmland, tranquil lochs, wild forests, rolling hills, remote mountains and heather-clad moorland on its way across the country.

We offer five suggested itineraries for walking the Southern Upland Way ranging from 7 to 14 days. Our packages include all accommodation, baggage transfers and full information pack.
