We are close to beautiful walks in Assynt, Suilven (the primary filming location of Edie The Movie), Handa Island (magnificent sandstone cliffs, seabirds and puffins) and The Old Man of Stoer (coastal walk offers excellent views of this wild coastline).
Taigh a Chnuic is the beautiful home of Anne-Marie and Michael who run their B&B at Taigh a Chnuic and Studio Hoose a luxury self-catered cabin located a little further up their hillside croft in Letters, only 9 miles from Ullapool. Taigh a Chnuic has two well-appointed first floor guest rooms available, one super king size, one double, each with wi-fi, ensuite shower room and beautiful views overlooking Loch Broom. The use of the sauna in the communal bathroom is also available. You can be assured of a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast.
We transformed the old barn into 2 modern rooms with contemporary comfort. The B&B building is separate to the croft house which gives you privacy with your own garden area and the breakfast is served in the main house. When the weather is fine you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery, chairs and tables are available in the garden. A new extension is under construction to the main house and when itís finished there will be a lounge/sitting room available for the guests with a TV.
