Beinn a'Choin may be situated between Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, but it is almost completely neglected. The most obvious route - a horseshoe around Coire Arklet - has problematic parking issues; our route heads up from the RSPB car park at Garrison Farm.
Region: Loch Lomond
Altitude: 770 metres

Other routes and challenges
Perhaps a finer route can be made from Corriearklet, making a horseshoe around the ridges enclosing the Corriearklet burn, but there is no suitable parking at the start.
The east shores of Loch Lomond are mostly very steep and deter approaches from that direction.
