Beinn nan Caorach is one of the smaller mountains on the Glenelg peninsula. It is often climbed with its higher neighbour, Beinn na h-Eaglaise; it too is a fine viewpoint.

The route given above is the most convenient. An approach from the north side via Gleann Beag would be long and complex; the hill could also be climbed as a detour from a through-walk from Kinloch Huorn to Glenelg.
