Sgùrr na Feartaig is a long ridge which encloses much of the south side of Glen Carron. A stalkers path runs along the length of the ridge, which can be approached from the Allt a' Chonais, the pass over Baobh-bhacan Dubha or from the Bealach Bhearnais.

The above route is the most straightforward. The pass over Baobh-bhacan Dubha is very steep on the north side, and there is now no bridge over the River Carron at its foot.
