Detailed route description and map

Stob Dubh via the northeast ridge, from Glen Etive

Other routes and challenges

The shortest and quickest route of ascent is directly up the southwest flank from Glenceitlin - an unremittingly steep grind; it is possible to avoid the crags mostly on the east side. However, the route via the northeast ridge given above gives a more enjoyable outing.
