Rumbling Bridge Gorge, near Crook of Devon

Rumbling Bridge gorge is a dramatic box canyon in seemingly otherwise gentle countryside. This short figure-of-eight walk gives exciting glimpses of its rock walls and waterfalls. NOTE: The bridge furthest downstream has been washed away - until it is replaced it is therefore only possible to go up and down one bank rather than completing the lower loop.

Woodland paths; steep drops into the gorge are partly fenced.
