Summary

Saline Hill rises above the village of the same name in a quiet corner of Fife. Be aware that its ascent is a tough outing despite the distance - it lacks a formal path and is very rough going at times - usually with lots of livestock present. It can be very overgrown in places, and very boggy in others; the descent route is a little more straightforward The neighbouring summit of Easter Cairn is the site of an old fort, and the views are extensive.
