Great Gable

Great Gable is one of the best known and most loved of the Lakeland Fells, this very compact mountain being a classic view from Wasdale. Its slopes include the rock pinnacle Nape's Needle and several tricky scrambling routes, whilst Westmorland Cairn to the south of the summit is a fantastic viewpoint.
