Summary

Yewbarrow is an extremely steep, wedge-shaped fell rising impressively above Wasdale. Its traverse makes an entertainingly rough walk with a fine ridge sweeping up at the south end and then a scrambly descent down to Dore Head, one the top of Lakeland's biggest scree-run but now badly eroded.

There are 691 Walkhighlanders who have climbed Yewbarrow. They have contributed 24 public walk reports including this summit. These are ordered below with the most popular ones first. The rightmost column shows how many summits were included in their report, which may help you to find the most relevant reports.
