Accessible only by the Three Lochs Forest Drive (small charge - open only from Easter to October), this pair of short loops from the Loch Drunkie car park make up an enjoyable figure of eight.

The walk starts from the Loch Drunkie car park with the toilets at NN535045, accessed from the Three Lochs Forest Drive toll road. Start the walk on the path past the picnic bench, marked with the blue waymarker posts. Keep left at a fork to follow the path downhill; it then soon swings back right, keeping above the loch, and emerges on the Forest Drive track. Turn left along this.
After around 300m a blue marker post indicates where to turn right onto a path climbing steeply through the trees. Higher up the path forks; it doesn't matter which option is taken, as they rejoin a short distance further on. There are some views to Loch Drunkie, rather impeded by the trees.
Eventually the path descends and returns to the car park. For the second half of the walk, follow the path to the left of the toilets. Keep straight on when it forks, passing a large wooden glockenspiel - one of several musical features on this section.
The path curves right, passes a bench, and eventually comes closer to the shore of Loch Drunkie. There are several more musical installations, including a wooden bell-ringing pavillion. Continue along the path which swings left and passes a boat-seat looking out over the water.
Beyond the seat the track cuts left and heads back through the trees, returning directly to the car park.
