Beinn Bhreac is almost invariably climbed by the route given above. The other theoretical possibly is an approach along Gleann Quoich to reach the Dubh-Ghleann.

It and Beinn a' Chaorainn are linked at a high level by a huge expanse of exposed tundra to the great plateau of Beinn a' Bhuird.
