Beinn Ìme is the highest of the Arrochar Alps. Usually ascended by its broad southern slopes from the Bealach a'Mhàim, the other sides of the mountain are much steeper and more rugged.

A much more strenuous and demanding option is to include Ben Vane as a third Munro on the round, but the ground between Ìme and Vane is steep and very rough. Finally, Ben Ìme can be ascended in combination with the Corbett, Beinn Luibhean.
