Beinn Sgritheall has one of the finest situations of any of the Munros, towering above the tiny village of Arnisdale on Loch Huorn. Its ascent is unrelentingly steep but the views from the summit are amongst the finest in Scotland.

Less steep approaches are possible, but these are much longer. One option is to head up into Coire Min before heading for the bealach between the summit and point 906m. Another, finer one is to tackle the NE ridge, which provides a dramatic walk with no scrambling involved.
