The route above from the Cairnwell Pass is by far the most popular, but there are other possibilities. One is to use an old path from Rhiedorrach up to Creag nan Eun and then up to Càrn nan Sac. Other routes approach over Càrn Mòr to the south, or up from the Baddoch Burn to the north.
