Inaccessible Pinnacle

The Inaccessible Pinnacle (often abbreviated to the In Pinn) is the second highest summit in the Skye Cuillin. It is notorious as the most difficult of the Munros, requiring a rock-climb and an abseil (and suitable experience or help from an expert) to complete the ascent. It rises from the summit of Sgùrr Dearg.

The West Ridge is a Difficult or Very Difficult rock-climb, whereas the longer East Ridge is graded a Moderate climb, though sensationally exposed. Neither route should be attempted without rock climbing skills and equipment, and some prior experience of abseiling.
